Arrays and R software
Synopsis
This work aims to show a historical journey of the evolution of the concept of matrix, from its appearance in the nineteenth century to its consolidation in the twentieth century. We will know the contributions of Sylvester, Hamilton and Cayley, the English algebraic school and the various interpretations until the concept of matrix is consolidated.
In the same way, the concept, classification of properties and applications of matrices is shown, and it is worth highlighting the use of R software in the solution of matrix operations.
